eBay said it will remove the previous Sell Your Item form the last week of December 2002 or early January 2003. The Sell Your Item form is used by sellers to list items for sale on eBay. Sellers use the form to include a description, photos and payment & shipping information as well as defining the length and type of listing. In July, eBay made a newer version of the form the default for sellers.
eBay said that over 90% of sellers who use its Sell Your Item form have already switched to using Sell Your Item 2.0. "We strongly encourage sellers to upgrade to Sell Your Item 2.0 or another selling tool, such as eBay Turbo Lister, as soon as possible."
eBay said the previous Sell Your Item form is difficult to maintain, but that it wanted to wait until after the holiday season before eliminating the old listing form from its site.
