Internet Pictures Corporation (iPIX) announced the formation of iPIX International, a joint venture between iPIX and Soroof International, a Saudi Arabia-based corporation known for its work with Cisco, Oracle and Microsoft. The new company, jointly owned by iPIX and Soroof, will be the exclusive distributor for iPIX Immersive still products, including the iPIX GPS Mapping System, outside of North America and Asia.

Through a five-year royalty agreement with iPIX, iPIX International will develop integrated solutions for markets including real estate, travel and tourism and other markets in which online marketing is critical. iPIX technology uses full 360-degree-by-360-degree imaging technology and services that enable customers to create and manage images to achieve a competitive advantage.

iPIX solutions create, process and manage a rich variety of media including still images, 360-degree by 360-degree immersive images, video, animation, text and audio. iPIX customers include eBay, Homestore and LA Times.
