eBay will hold a program to promote its Gallery feature to sellers on October 22- 24, 2002. The Gallery feature allows sellers to present miniature pictures (thumbnails) of their items, allowing buyers to view the items while browsing the Gallery.
The Gallery fee for Regular auction-style listings, Fixed Price listings, non-vehicle listings on eBay Motors, Real Estate listings, and Store Inventory listings (up to 30 days) will be $0.01 on the U.S. site. The Gallery Fee will also be reduced in Picture Pack from $1.00 to $0.76 during Penny Gallery Days.
All other fees (insertion fees, final value fees, all other optional listing fees) will still be charged. Listings revised to add the Gallery option October 22-24, 2002, that were not first listed during the promotional period are also excluded.
