Tias.com, an online catalog of antiques and collectibles, today announced that they are now using eBay's API (Application Programming Interface) to load merchandise to the eBay system.
The Tias system allows independent antique and collectible merchants to build online stores within the Tias online "Mall," where they can sell their merchandise at "fixed" price. The eBay API gives Tias merchants the ability to easily move items from the fixed price platform on Tias to the auction platform on eBay. This new system gives merchants an easy to use and robust system to access the two most popular platforms for selling antiques and collectibles online.
"eBay's API will provide our merchants with a more robust interface when they send merchandise from Tias to eBay," said Phillip Davies, President of Tias.com. "The eBay API will give our merchants more listing options on eBay as well. Our merchants will be able to schedule auctions in advance at no extra charge."
