Western Union BidPay said some AOL users are having problems accessing its site. BidPay is a service that allows users to purchase money orders over the Internet, and is frequently used to pay for eBay purchases.
"We have had some AOL users reporting problems accessing our site," said Marla Reichard, BidPay spokesperson. "We're still working on the problem, but it seems to only happen when AOL users dial in to certain AOL servers. We've been advising AOL customers who are having problems to either try to access our site through a non-AOL browser (like Internet Explorer or Netscape) or try dialing up to AOL via another access number than the one they have been using. That usually enables them to access our site."
BidPay said the problem will be fixed soon.
