Bid4Assets Inc., a leading auction site that uses technology to maximize return for government and private industry, will auction commercial land and a building in Tupelo, Mississippi, that was forfeited to the U.S. Marshals Service. The online auction will be held November 12-14, bidding starts at $120,400. Money from the auction will go to the U.S. Marshals Service Asset Forfeiture Fund to continue crime-fighting efforts.
Bid4Assets has been conducting asset sales for the U.S. Marshals Service since December 1999 to include residential and commercial real estate, luxury vehicles, aircraft, boats, timeshares and financial instruments and has recently sold a car wash and single family homes in Marks and D'lberville, Mississippi.
“We are pleased to continue to work with the Marshals Service to sell homes and other real estate more quickly and efficiently online,” said Bid4Assets vice president of marketing and corporate-wide communications Jenny Monroe. “Interested buyers can find all of the information they need to make a purchasing decision online.”
