Butterfields Auctioneers, a leading fine-art auction house, has implemented an online customer service system from Neotonic Software. Trakken offers advanced email response management features, integrated Knowledge Base and reporting and analytics functions to enable Butterfields to significantly streamline customer service efficiency and reduce costs. Butterfields said real-time bidding via the Internet has become a standard in the company's auctions. The firm was acquired from eBay by international fine art auctioneers Bonhams in August 2002. Online illustrated catalogs, sales schedules and information on collecting are available on the company's Web site.
