eBay is offering a "Fixed Price Free Listing Day" on the Canadian site Thursday, December 5. The promotion applies only to non-auction Fixed Price items.
Introduced in July, eBay's Fixed Price listings are different from auction-style "Buy It Now" listings. Sellers are allowed to modify the price of a Fixed Price item during the duration of the listing. Sellers can also list multiple quantities of the same item in the listing, allowing buyers to purchase one or more of the same item at once.
Fixed Price listings have the same duration options as auction-style listings and incur the same fees. There are minimum seller feedback requirements.
Insertion Fees will be credited during Fixed Price Free Listing Day. All other fees (final value fees, optional home page featured, featured plus, highlight, bold, gallery etc.) apply.
