eBay to Remove Old Listing Form in January, Makes Changes to eBay Motors Forms

eBay said it will remove the previous Sell Your Item form (version 1.0) in early January. At that time, the versions of relist and Revise Your Item that correspond with the old Sell Your Item form will also be removed.

The Sell Your Item form is used by sellers to list items for sale on eBay. eBay introduced version 2.0 in June, and made it the default listing form in July. Sellers may use the Sell Your Item 2.0 form, or may choose to use eBay's Turbo Lister desktop-based selling tool, which is free and contains an optional fee-based scheduling feature. Sellers may also use automated tools from third-party vendors [see http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/pages/ams for a chart of some popular auction-management tools].

eBay also announced changes to the eBay Motors Sell Your Item form and the Revise Your Item 2.0 tool for eBay Motors. Sellers may now select the "IPIX Vehicle Pack" feature, which allows up to 12 photos to be included in a vehicle listing for just $2.

eBay has also introduced enhancements to eBay.com site emails, including the Outbid Notice, Bid Confirmation and List Confirmation emails, "to make them easier to use and provide information that members have been asking for."
