AuctionWatch, a leading auction-management vendor, launched Customer Manager, a new service that provides powerful email automation and customer relationship management for small businesses. Customer Manager pricing plans start as low as $3.95 per month.

Customer Manager is a robust email-management service coupled with a personal database that stores complete customer, transaction and email communication history. AuctionWatch said businesses that use Customer Manager will become more efficient by being able to quickly identify and communicate with customers and reduce the time spent managing a high volume of email.

"Until now, most small businesses were dependent on free Web mail services or email that came with their ISP to manage their business relationships," said Rodrigo Sales, CEO of AuctionWatch. "Our new Customer Manager service delivers powerful customer communications automation and management at an affordable price."

Customer Manager enables a business to easily view a customer's transaction history or see all communications associated with a particular transaction with one click. Additionally, Customer Manager allows any business to set up filters, sort all email into prioritized inboxes and easily respond using a customized template. Plus, businesses can easily create a list of customers for email marketing purposes.

Major features include:

  • Customer history for viewing all transactions and email messages associated with a customer record.
  • Customer rating to rate customers for prioritization purposes
  • Transaction history to find all email communications and customers linked to a particular transaction
  • Custom notes to eliminate the need to remember important details. Users can add custom notes to every message.
  • Centralized customer database to capture and store every sale, customer and email into a users own personal database.
  • It is integrated with sales manager so every listing closed using AuctionWatch?s Sales Manager is automatically imported into Customer Manager.
  • Multiple e-mail addresses per customer. Customers often have more than one e-mail address, making it difficult to associate the customer with their transaction. Customer Manager enables a single customer to be associated with multiple e-mail addresses to eliminate confusion.
  • Opt-in management to manage opt-in lists for protection against unsolicited commercial email.
  • No mailbox storage limits.
  • Protection against SPAM and viruses. Leading SPAM and virus protectors are used to ensure nobody is bogged down with unproductive email.

Online businesses may use Customer Manager to set up auto-responders to instantly answer questions from customers about return policies, Frequently Asked Questions, or other types of customer inquiries. Users may also rate customers and be alerted when an email arrives from a high-value customer.

Customer Manager can be used in conjunction with AuctionWatch's sales management tools or can be used as a stand-alone tool. Pricing starts at $3.95/month, which includes 200 outbound emails.
