eBay is offering a one-day promotion for sellers posting fixed-price offerings today. The promotion applies to the U.S. site (eBay.com) and eBay Motors. eBay will waive the listing fees for all items listed in a "Fixed Price Format" for items listed on Thursday, February 6th, 2003, between 00:00:01 PST (12:00 AM plus one second) and 23:59:59 PST (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds). This includes listings created prior to February 6th, 2003 that are scheduled to start on February 6th, 2003. Certain feedback ratings are required in order to list in the Fixed Price format (http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fixed_price.html).

Basic listing fees are waived, but all other fees, including Final Value fees, will still be charged. Regular auction-style listings, auction-style listings with Buy It Now, Sothebys.com, Live Auction, International, Real Estate, Ad Format, Professional Services and Store Inventory listings are excluded from the promotion. Fixed Price listings created during the promotion on February 6th, 2003, but scheduled to start after February 6th, 2003, will also be excluded.
