Agreement Makes Level 3 One of eBay's Primary Providers of Bandwidth Services

Level 3 Communications Inc. announced it has signed an agreement to provide Internet access service to eBay. The deal makes Level 3 one of eBay's primary providers of bandwidth.
eBay is using Level 3's (3)CrossRoads service, which connects Level 3's customers and network in the U.S. and Europe with the networks that comprise the public Internet. Level 3 is one of the world's leading providers of Internet connectivity and co-location services for Internet service providers, search-engines and portals.
Level 3 Communications operates one of the largest Internet backbones in the world, is one of the largest providers of wholesale dial-up service to ISPs in North America and is the primary provider of Internet connectivity for millions of broadband subscribers, through its cable and DSL customers.
