eBay announced that Todd Madeiros was appointed to the position of country manager, eBay Canada (www.ebay.ca). Employed by eBay since May 1998, Madeiros has held a number of international positions within eBay, and now becomes the senior-level executive responsible for managing, directing and overseeing all of eBay Canada's operations. Madeiros will work from eBay Canada's offices in Toronto. In this position, Madeiros has overall responsibility for the ongoing development of eBay Canada, including operations, sales and marketing, and building the eBay brand and community in Canada.

Prior to his appointment to eBay Canada, Madeiros held a number of increasingly senior positions at eBay, including director, online marketing operations, responsible for the leadership and management of the development and publication of eBay's onsite marketing. Prior to this position, Madeiros was employed as director, international marketing, responsible for managing, directing and overseeing eBay's International Marketing operations by establishing best practice sharing and scaling developing countries, including eBay's European and Asian operations.
