VehicleStore.com, a new online wholesale automotive marketplace for vehicle dealers, wholesalers and lenders, recently launched. The site is an enhanced classified directory and will feature thousands of vehicles from dealers, lenders, and remarketing companies all over the United States. According to the company's press release, a 2002 survey by the National Independent Auto Dealer Association showed that used-vehicle dealers are buying 70% of their new and used vehicles from online and local auctions.

VehicleStore.com is only open to authorized auto dealers and does not charge any registration or buyer fees to dealers seeking to purchase vehicles.

Dealers using the site to sell pay a base monthly charge of $399 to upload and sell an unlimited number of vehicles. Fees are only charged to dealers and other participants that want to sell vehicles on the site.

A user-friendly inventory entry system allows dealership staff to upload vehicle information along with eight to ten photographs in a matter of minutes. Selling dealers also have the ability to export their inventory from VehicleStore.com to other retail automotive Web sites for no additional expense.
