CalCruising, an online auction site for collector cars, said it is licensing a select group of businesses to use its auction system and fully loaded member base of nearly 10,000 users.

CalCruising is looking for a handful of companies to participate with them in a unique license agreement to build other areas of the country that they do not reach. Over the last four years CalCruising has created a national database and auction package. Since CalCruising's focus is Southern California, they have decided to let other companies take advantage of their auction package by focusing on cars within different regions, both nationally and internationally.

"Since inception in 1999, we have registered thousands of car collectors into our CalCruising auction site," said President and founder Michael Schriner. "These first-time buyers, collectors, and enthusiasts represent the best online car buyers. Our members have already bid over $172,000,000 since opening."

Licenses at CalCruising start at $50,000 for a complete turn-key operation. CalCruising will also offer annual upgrades to load new members and software modifications into licensees sites.
