Companies Accepting Consignments for APS Stampshow Auctions

Regency-Superior Stamps & Collectibles from St. Louis, Missouri and Jacques Schiff, Inc. of Ridgefield Park, New Jersey will hold auctions at the August 7-10, APS STAMPSHOW 2003 in Columbus, Ohio. Both firms are now accepting consignments. Regency may be contacted toll-free at 1-800-782-0066 or by email to smcree@regencystamps.com. Schiff may be reached at 201-641-5566.

Both companies will donate one percent of the hammer price to the American Philatelic Society. In addition the Schiff firm will donate 20% of the consignors 10% commission fee in the name of any APS member submitting stamps or covers for the STAMPSHOW auction.

To qualify, unreserved consignments from an identified APS member must be in the hands of Jacques C. Schiff, Inc. no later than June 1, 2003. The consignment must also realize $10,000, or $7,500 if five (or fewer) individual lots are consigned.

APS STAMPSHOW is the largest annual postage stamp show in the United States and will include 170 dealers, more than 100 educational programs, and participation of 50 national philatelic societies. The show, co-sponsored by the United States Postal Service and the American Stamp Dealers Association, will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, 400 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio, August 7-10. Admission is free but registration is required.
