For the past 6 years, the Official Gillian Anderson Web site has raised over $600,000 to benefit Neurofibromatosis Inc. through an annual online auction on Yahoo Auctions. The 7th annual online auction will feature X-Files and other Gillian Anderson-related memorabilia.
Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder of the nervous system that causes tumors to form on the nerves anywhere in the body at any time. This progressive disorder affects all ethnic races and both sexes equally. There is no known cure at this time.
