Sales OnLine today announced the launch of numerous enhancements to its patent-pending AuctionInc software, which includes aiShip, the Companies patent pending "shipping-calculator" and aiSeller.
aiSeller(TM) online auction management software is geared to help eBay auction sellers increase efficiency and profitability. aiSeller helps eBay auction sellers manage the e-commerce backend functions that are often neglected, but can make or break a company's e-commerce efforts. According to Sales Online, aiSeller customers have reportedly increased their productivity by more than 50 percent through the use of the software.
“Shipping costs can account for a third of the cost of an order so it is an item both buyers and sellers are watching closely.” Said Greg Rotman, CEO of Sales OnLine Direct. “AiShip, which utilizes our patent-pending technology, automates the entire shipping calculation process by calculating the shipping costs based on the zip code entered by the buyer.”
aiShip allows eBay auction buyers to calculate comparative shipping/handling rates, sales tax and shipping insurance automatically for multiple shipping carriers at any time during the shopping or auction process to determine their total costs before they buy. PayPal offers aiShip as a recommended third-party solution to expedite all business processes associated with the close of online auctions on eBay.
aiShip enhancements include:
The Calculator Injector - Automates adding the calculator to all or specified existing auctions on eBay with a minimal number of keystrokes using eBay’s “Add to Description” capability.
''Media Mail and Bound Printed Matter'' Shipping Services – Sellers that primarily ship items that qualify for either the US Postal Service's Media Mail or Bound Printed Matter shipping services can now offer this lower-cost shipping option to customers.
Insurance Thresholds – Sellers who insure their packages can now set threshold levels for each carrier under which insurance will not be included in the shipping calculation.
UPS "Entry Points" – The aiShip calculator can now calculate the different rates that UPS charges depending on what method the seller uses to deliver packages to UPS (ie Daily Pickup, Customer Counter, Retail Location, etc.).
Live Help – Sellers can communicate directly with the aiShip technical support staff about product questions or concerns from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. EST. Sales OnLine Direct has also added "popup" Help throughout the AuctionInc.com site to answer many buyers’ questions on the spot.
New Calculator Design - The aiShip calculator’s sleek new graphic design has a more professional feel and its colors better complement a wider variety of auction item description templates. The enhanced Calculator HTML is now more compatible with Turbo Lister and Auction Wizard 2000 to expedite the listing process.
