Bid4Assets Inc., a leading online auction site for high-end assets from government, non-profits and private industry, announced that it will auction 198 tax-defaulted parcels for Riverside County, California. The online auctions will be held July 14 - 21, 2003 on the Bid4Assets Web site.
The parcels offered for sale are located primarily in the Banning, Lake Elsinore, Romoland and Perris areas of Riverside County. Due diligence materials are available for viewing online. The minimum bid for each parcel starts at $540.
The County of Riverside is the nations 15th largest county hosting 1.7 million residents and growing at a rate of 557 new residents per day. Riverside County is a new client of Bid4Assets, having previously used Yahoo Auctions to sell tax-defaulted property. The Riverside County Treasurer-Tax Collector collects $1.3 billion annually in property taxes and manages the county's AAA rated $3 billion investment portfolio.
