Kruse International will broadcast its Auburn classic car auction through iCollector on August 27, 2003 through September 2, 2003 from Auburn, Indiana. Kruse International is a leading collector-car auction company and conducted the world's first annual consignment collector car auction in 1971. The company says the Auburn extravaganza, held each Labor Day weekend, is the world's largest event of its kind and annually draws 5,000 collectible vehicles for sale.
The entire auction will be posted on the iCollector Web site for preview and will be broadcast on eBay Live Auctions using iCollector technology. iCollector is owned by AbleAuctions.com and provides technology and related services to auctions houses. Its alliance with eBay Live Auctions has resulted in hundreds of Live Auctions being broadcast in real-time, direct to the salesroom as the auction happens.
eBay sold Kruse International last December after having purchased it in 1999.
