Collectors Universe Inc. has joined with the Chicago Sun-Times as the host of a series of sports auctions. Collectors Universe is a leading provider of value-added grading and authentication services and auction services to dealers and collectors of high-end collectibles. The sports auctions will be held in conjunction with the 27th annual Chicago Sun-Times Sports Collectible Convention held biannually in Chicago. Upcoming events will be held in November 2003 and March 2004. Convention promoter Sports News Productions is expecting more than 10,000 attendees for the upcoming convention which will feature exhibits by more than 450 sports marketers and dealers.
