eBay announced that later this week, Motors categories will be supported in eBay Stores. Once this change is introduced to the site, Motors sellers can open a Store and have all the functionality that other eBay sellers receive in Stores. However, the Stores inventory format will not support Motors vehicle listings. Motors storeowners will be able to list parts and accessories in Store inventory format, and Motors Categories will now be included in the Stores hub page and Stores navigation.
eBay also modified the tool that allows sellers to lower the reserve and Buy It Now prices on vehicle listings within eBay Motors. The tool will now allow reserve and/or Buy It Now prices to be lowered multiple times during a listing, instead of the one reduction that was previously allowed.
The company also changed how eBay Motors would display prices for reserve-price items when bids are placed below the reserve price. Now, the highest bid below the reserve will become the current price of the item, regardless of other bids
