The town house reportedly owned by Pierre Omidyar when he created eBay is up for sale on the eBay auction site. Omidyar created AuctionWeb on Labor Day 1995 from a spare bedroom in his town house. He later changed the name of the site to eBay. The auction, with a starting bid of $394,500, ends on September 12.
