eBay to Shut Down iPIX Photo Service Next Weekend
By Ina Steiner

For the last two weeks, eBay has been transitioning sellers who use eBay Picture Services hosted by iPIX to the new solution hosted by eBay. The auction site continues to transition members to the new eBay-hosted feature in preparation for turning off the iPIX-hosted feature next weekend. (If you currently use a third-party picture host, this transition does not affect you.)
Some members have received an error message while relisting or revising their auctions using the picture-hosting service. eBay said the problem relates to the transition process. If this happens, it said users can either continue listing without editing their pictures, or return to their listing later.
