From October 30 through December 18, eBay will be promoting a special area where all the products are new, can be purchased using Buy It Now and PayPal, and come with $500 PayPal Buyer Protection. In order to list items in this area, sellers must meet certain qualifications, including having 50+ feedback points with 98% of them positive, and having a Business or Premier PayPal account.
Listings qualified for the "Easy to Buy" promotion will be promoted throughout the site starting on October 30 and through the holiday shopping season.
PayPal Buyer Protection is a new program in which PayPal will provide eBay buyers with coverage of up to $500 for claims of non-delivery or significantly-not-as-described on qualified eBay listings that are paid for with PayPal. The program is due to launch October 14.
