AOL selected Roving Software's email marketing service for its AOL for Small Business members. Constant Contact offers customizable, permission-based email marketing tools.

The AOL branded and customized version of the Constant Contact service enables small businesses to create and send HTML newsletters, promotions and more, and track their results with no technical expertise necessary.

"Our goal is to provide the best tools and services available to satisfy the mission critical needs of small business," said Sarah Bernard, Executive Director and General Manager, AOL for Small Business. "Communicating directly to customers is certainly critical to the success of small businesses, and email marketing is one of the most effective forms of communication available."

AOL for Small Business, which launched in November 2002 and has since grown to include more than 500,000 members, is a version of the flagship AOL service that has been customized to meet the unique needs of the more than 20 million small businesses in the U.S.
