Technology from Live Global Bid allows real-life automobile auctions to be simultaneously broadcast over the Internet. ADESA Canada's LiveBlock are streaming audio, video and bidding technologies, providing dealers with increased access to vehicles.
Ford Motor Company of Canada and BMW Financial Services are the latest to take their remarketing business to the Internet using ADESA Canada’s new eBusiness interactive solution LiveBlock. ADESA initiated the LiveBlock rollout 6 months ago with Daimler Chrysler. The company said LiveBlock has exceeded all expectations and helps ADESA’s customers, both buyers and sellers, achieve better business results.
According to Trevor Henderson, ADESA’s director of eBusiness, “LiveBlock has met with remarkable success in its rollout to eight of our facilities across Canada. Dealers are extremely pleased with the ease of use, and, of course, the convenience of being able to participate in an auction without having to be there in person.”
