QuikDrop International announced it has begun conducting daily video chat sessions on its eBay listings to assist bidders in making better-informed decisions. Anyone viewing an eBay listing by QuikDrop can "drop" into a video chat that displays directly on the eBay Web site. QuikDrop operates a franchise of auction drop-off stores that sell items on eBay for consumers.
The new video chat feature routes video, sound and text chats to the QuikDrop store that has the product shown in a given eBay listing. Potential bidders can ask to see a specific product on live video and ask any questions that may assist them in bidding. All browser platforms are supported. No additional software or plug-ins are required. Each QuikDrop store will initially host video chats for one hour a day per location.
