It could take 2-3 weeks to clear the backlog of mail in the United Kingdom as Royal Post works to catch up after employee strikes. eBay UK advised members to inform their trading partners if there were problems in their area, and asked trading partners waiting for payments or delivery to be patient.

All postal workers are back at work and normal service is being resumed. But there may be as many as 50 million items caught up in the backlog caused by the disruption.
