Bidchaser has launched an affiliate program, a new bulk loading tool, and a new category to make buying and selling more intuitive. The new features are part of its "Holiday Bash Program" designed to take advantage of the holiday shopping season.
Bidchaser.com said normally, when a seller places an item for sale on an auction site, they have to place each item within a long list of categories, some as large as 18,000. A new category called Gift Shoppe allows sellers to place items where buyers can search according to a variety of occasions or by their interests or occupation.
In addition to internal seller-oriented efforts, Bidchaser.com launched a targeted marketing campaign. "We started in early October by working on search engine placement strategies," said Leo Cunha, cofounder of Bidchaser.com. The site has also developed sponsorship/promotional agreements with several online marketing firms as well as Orlando Villa Vacation Properties, SkyTelecom and Concept Marketing International (CMI).
Bidchaser.com also announced the appointment of Alexei Polkhanov as its Online Stores Product Manager.
