Each week, with data provided by Medved's Auction Counts, AuctionBytes will look back at the previous week's sell-through rate for eBay's top-level categories. Medved's compiles statistics on eBay auctions, monitoring eBay.com pages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at 1.5 hour intervals for their auction counts and sell-through statistics.
Sell-through statistics are calculated for every category by taking a sample of the "going, going, gone" items. Medved's also tracks the percentage of eBay auctions which receive bids. This data can be found in graph form at http://www.medved.net/cgi-bin/cal.exe?SIND
