eBay will be holding a 2-day Penny Gallery sale on the U.S. site from, February 11-12, 2004. Listings created prior to February 11 and scheduled to start during the promotional period will be eligible for the promotional rate. During the promotion, the fee for Gallery will be one penny for Auction-Style, Fixed Price, eBay Motors non-vehicles, and Real Estate listings. The promotion will not apply for eBay Motors vehicles, International, Live Auction, Professional Services, and Store Inventory listings. All other fees apply.

eBay also announced it is enhancing the "My eBay" feature, a tool members use for managing buying and selling activities. In March, eBay will roll out a beta version, called "My eBay 2.0," which will be easier to navigate, have an increased capacity for favorite searches and watched listings, will include buying and selling reminders and will have a customizable summary page. Members will be able to save up to 100 favorite searches, name the searches, and have new search results emailed to them. Members will also be able to add notes to the auctions they are watching. A preview may be seen at http://pages.ebay.com/MyeBay2.0/Preview.

eBay is also planning new versions of its auction-management software Selling Manager and Selling Manager Pro.
