eBay is enhancing the Item Page (the listing page, which you see if you click on an auction title) this week. eBay significantly re-designed the page last summer, and member feedback included serious criticisms of the new design. eBay addressed some concerns immediately, and this week's changes promise to address additional member concerns.
Some of the enhancements include: prominent shipping region (the regions to which a seller will ship will be displayed above the item description); improved confirmation screens (separate pages for Bidding and Buy It Now confirmation will be implemented to make them load faster); enhanced bid history (the email address and location of the high bidder will be available to the seller from the Bid History page); start time (the time the listing was started will be indicated at the top of the item page); a larger font; a printer-friendly mode; and an updated "email this item to a friend" feature (this will be updated to be more consistent with other forms on the site, and will remain in its current location).
