eBay announced Points International Ltd.'s Points Exchange program will become the primary vehicle for all airline, hotel, and major online loyalty program partners wanting to trade with eBay's Anything Points program. The eBay Anything Points allows buyers to pay for eBay items with promotional currency. eBay members can earn Points from program partners, special offers and sellers who offer Points, which are then stored in their PayPal accounts.
Points International and eBay have also agreed to extend the term of their original Points Exchange Agreement, executed in August 2003, until December 2005.
