Bidville Inc., founded in 1999 as an online auction alternative to eBay, said it has completed the acquisition of privately held 3 2 1 Play Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Buy Sell Connect Inc.

Headquartered in Jericho, New York, 3 2 1 Play Inc. was founded by Alina Mezhibovsky, who started the business by selling items found in her garage over the Internet. Mrs. Mezhibovsky quickly expanded the business to include new and used items. 3 2 1 Play Inc. has access to thousands of major brand products at or below wholesale prices from leading manufacturers and has developed a significant and growing online following through successful sales of its product offerings.

"The acquisition of 3 2 1 Play will bring an even greater variety of products to Bidville," said Kim Cullen, Bidville's Director of Marketing.

Mezhibovsky will stay on to run 3 2 1 Play, which will list items exclusively on Bidville.

Bidville will also launch a national chain of "drop off" stores through 3 2 1 Play's wholly-owned subsidiary Buy Sell Connect Inc., where sellers can bring their new or used items. In addition, buyers and sellers can browse over 1.3 million auction items through the Bidville kiosk located in each store. Bidville's mission is to provide buyers and sellers with a simple and fun way to buy or sell their items online. The stores will be branded "Buy Sell Connect powered by Bidville." The first store will launch in New York in about 3 months, followed by a second location in Florida. The company plans to offer seminars and training classes at the stores to teach people how to buy and sell online safely.
