Amazon said due to recent maintenance activities on its site, some sellers are not receiving Amazon's email messages. "Recent hardware upgrades we made caused some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) not to recognize our mail servers as a trusted source of e-mail and to filter these messages as "SPAM" before they ever reached your Inbox. We are in contact with the major ISPs and are working closely with them to resolve the matter as quickly as possible."
Amazon said some sellers may not have received some "Sold-Ship Now!" (SSN) messages for orders completed on March 21 and 22. "We have resolved the technical issues responsible for this, and our engineers have verified that we are generating and sending the e-mail notifications upon successful completion of each Marketplace order." Amazon encouraged its sellers to verify the orders awaiting fulfillment in their Amazon Payments accounts.
Because the problem may have caused delays in shipments, with sellers not meeting buyers' expectations for timely delivery of their items, Amazon acknowledged that some sellers may receive unwarranted negative feedback for these orders.
"We take the issue of seller feedback ratings very seriously. To rectify this situation, we will be removing all negative or neutral feedback ratings associated with orders completed from March 20-23. This automatic process will begin to remove errant feedback by the end of next week."
