eBay is holding a 3-day 5-cent Subtitle promotion on the U.S. site and eBay Motors non-vehicle listings April 6 - 8, 2004. The promotion applies to Auction-style, Fixed Price, Real Estate, Ad Format (for listings that will run for less than or equal to 30 days) and Motors non-vehicles listings. The special promotional fee is 5 cents instead of the regular 50-cent charge. All other fees apply.

Subtitle allows sellers to add 55 characters of additional information below the item Title on the search and listings pages. While the new feature helps buyers view more information as they browse listings, words in the Subtitle will not show up in "Title Search," although they will show up in "Title and Description Search." The Subtitle feature is optional.
