eBay announced changes to its Search and Browse pages that began rolling out Tuesday. Currently, searches on regular eBay.com will not display eBay Stores inventory. While that's still generally true, search results will display eBay Stores or international listings when an original search returns 10 or fewer listings.
eBay added pull-down menus to let users drill down to a more specific category, while still keeping their original search parameters or adding new ones. There is a new "Customize" link on the pages that allows users to choose their own default display settings and the tools shown in their Search Options area.
"Going, Going, Gone" is gone! eBay eliminated the filters "Ending Today" and "Going, Going, Gone," which had displayed only those types of listings. Now, users must sort by a pull-down menu and view everything else in the category they're browsing.
Users can discuss questions and comments in the Search Discussion Board and learn more about the changes on eBay's site.
