eBay said it will begin offering coupons to eBay and PayPal members in email, the Web site or offline promotions. The coupons will be issued occasionally and work for only for items that are paid for using PayPal. Coupons will not be able to be used with other coupons, gift certificates or eBay Anything Points.

eBay said its coupons will never require the buyer to enter sensitive information, such as a credit card number, User ID, email address, or eBay or PayPal password in an email. Members may not buy or sell eBay coupons. Read more information about coupons and restrictions on the eBay Web site.
