ChannelAdvisor Supports eBay Pre-Fill Feature

ChannelAdvisor said its Merchant software now supports eBay’s Pre-filled Item Information, or "Catalog," feature. ChannelAdvisor Merchant is marketplace-management software for mid-size businesses and top-tier PowerSellers. ChannelAdvisor will roll out Pre-filled support this summer for its ChannelAdvisor Pro product, designed for small businesses and individual eBay sellers.
eBay has been rolling out Item Specifics in various product categories. With Pre-Fill Item Information, sellers are able to select the item they are selling from eBay's database and have eBay populate the Item Specific fields with the appropriate information. While many vendors support eBay's Item Specifics, only Zoovy and Andale's auction-management software supported Pre-fill until ChannelAdvisor's announcement.
"ChannelAdvisor's support for Pre-fill gives me "one-click" automation. It automatically fills in the data for all of my listing - not just one," said Randy Smythe, President of Glacier Bay DVD, one of the largest sellers of DVDs on eBay.
