Sterlingbidz.com will hold a penny listing day on Friday, April 23. Normal listing fees were 65 cents, but were reduced to 25 cents for the month of April. For one day only, listing days are reduced to one cent. Final value fees of 5 percent still apply.

SterlingBidz said it has about 400 listings and 24 sellers that have listed an item in the last 60 days. "We have plenty of registered bidders, but are looking for merchants that can pass our verification process as well as offer unique items on the site," said Mark Hutto. "We want people to bring something new."

Mark Hutto and his wife Andrea founded the online-auction site, which features Collectibles, Coins, Jewelry, Gemstones, Art, and Antiques, all opening at $1.00 with no reserve.
