eBay UK sellers will no longer be able to tack on charges for using services like PayPal as of June 6. "Surcharging" occurs when sellers pass along charges incurred for using services like payment services or eBay fees to buyers. The practice has never been allowed in the U.S., and now eBay is banning surcharging on its UK site. There are exceptions to the policy, such as charging for shipping and handling and for escrow services.
