DeadBeater says its new Web-based service provides eBay sellers of all sizes with more informed and automated control over their bidders, auctions and businesses. A small "Protected By DeadBeater" shield on each of the participating sellers' auction pages is backed up with the proprietary DeadBeater rating system and services.

Under development for nearly three years, DeadBeater has completed a 6- month live-launch phase. The company says its service minimizes problem bidders, attracting a better breed of bidders and providing sellers with greater control over their auctions and their businesses. To date, DeadBeater has been used in over 130,000 auctions. The DeadBeater service is offered as a single, flat-rate monthly subscription.
