eBay Motors Launches New Feature in Bidding and Buy-Now Process

eBay is launching a pilot program on eBay Motors to make shipping and handling information more clear to buyers during the Bid and Buy It Now process. During the pilot, the seller's selected payment methods and shipping and handling information (the same information that is available on the Item page) will be displayed prominently during the bidding and buying process. This is intended to remind buyers about the details of the transaction before they commit to bid or buy.

eBay is also separating the sign-in process from the Bid and Buy It Now process. If a buyer is not signed in before attempting to bid, they will be asked to do so before the bidding or buying process starts. Members who are signed in prior to bidding or buying will not need to sign in again. eBay will evaluate the pilot program to determine if it will roll it out to other eBay sites in the future.
