Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Grosses $20 Million in Recent Auction

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers said it generated over $20 million in gross auction sales at an auction held last week at its auction site in Orlando, Florida. The unreserved auction, held May 27, attracted over 1,100 bidders from 27 countries and 49 U.S. states. Approximately 70% of the equipment was purchased by buyers from outside of Florida. Over 400 people (34% of total bidders) registered to bid in real time for the Florida sale using the rbauctionBid-Live Internet bidding service and accounted for more than 16% of total purchases.
