eBay said it will introduce a new Comparison Shopping feature in the next few days. The feature will allow buyers to select listings while in Search, Browse, Seller's Other Items and Stores pages. These listings can then be displayed in the Comparison Shopping page, where the buyer can compare various details about the listings side-by-side. This is designed to minimize "looping," where the buyer must continually click in and out of the listings they are interested in to get basic information.
Buyers will be able to select up to 25 items to compare at any one time, and will be able to easily return to the listing if they decide to bid on or buy the item.
