eBay Adds Quantity Features to Bulk-Lot Listings

Reading AuctionBytes: eBay Adds Quantity Features to Bulk-Lot Listings

eBay is introducing a new feature to its listings page so sellers can provide more information about bulk lot listings. Sellers can now provide information like lot size in the Sell Your Item form. The new lots feature is available for auction-style, Fixed Price, and Store Inventory listings.

In the next few days, buyers will have the option of filtering their search results so only bulk lot listings will be displayed. The optional filter can be accessed by clicking the "Customize" link located under "Search Options" on the search and listings pages. Buyers also can search for listings containing a specified quantity of items (for instance, listings with at least 10 items) from the search and listings pages.

This is another move to add search options for buyers. Last week, eBay added zip code searching to make it easier to search and find items located near buyers, possibly to counter location-based sites like LiveDeal and Craigslist.
