Larry Star, aka the "Wedding Dress Guy," has contracted with auction-services company Bidadoo Auctions to sell his "famous" wedding dress on eBay. This time, 25 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the buyer's charity of choice.
Star became an overnight worldwide celebrity in April when he listed his ex-wife's Wedding Dress on eBay. Star modeled the gown and wrote humorous commentary as part of a five-day eBay auction listing. He has appeared on more than 20 television and radio shows and in countless news articles talking about the auction, which received over 17 million hits.
The winning bidder of the first wedding dress auction said his friend had placed the bid as a prank, leaving Star with the dress. This time, the auction has many photos of the dress in greater detail.
In addition to the wedding dress (size 12), the winning bidder is entitled to a free performance by Larry Star's Seattle-based band, The Buzzcuts, at a function of their choice, as long as it's within a 100-mile radius of Seattle, Washington.
