eBay and eBay Canada will hold a 10-cent fixed-price listing sale on July 8. Fixed-price listings on eBay.com and eBay.ca created prior to July 8, 2004 and scheduled to start during the promotional period will also be eligible for the special promotional rate.
During the 1-day promotion, the insertion fee for fixed-price format listings on eBay.com and eBay.ca will be 10 cents. This promotion will not apply to eBay Motors (vehicles or non-vehicles), International (excluding eBay.ca), Live Auctions, Professional Services, Real Estate Ad Format, and Store Inventory listings. This promotion also does not apply to auction-style listings or auction-style listings with the Buy It Now option. All other fees apply. See Web site for details and restrictions.
NOTE to eBay Canada users: While the U.S. announcement board states the 10-cent fixed price listing sale applies to eBay.ca, the promotional page itself only mentions eBay.com. Meanwhile, eBay Canada's announcement board advertises another promotion (see below). Please verify before listing items. We apologize we could not reach eBay in time before publication.

Motors vehicles, parts & accessories, Store Inventory Listings and Real Estate Ad format listings will not be included in the promotion. All other fees apply, see Web site for details and restrictions.
(We announced a similar promotion taking place on eBay UK July 8 in Tuesday's newsletter.)

eBay also announced a new "seller hub," a portal page that will link to selling-related resources, including a link to the Sell Your Item form and eBay selling tools.
eBay said the new sell hub is the first stage of a long-term project to make eBay easier and more intuitive to use by organizing the numerous tools, education content, and other resources across the site into logical landing pages. The other hubs to be developed over the months ahead include a hub for buyers and one for Community resources, as well as smaller projects such as adding a landing page to My eBay for visitors who are not signed in and a more efficient Help hub.
