Bright Builders Inc. released Version 2.0 of DeepAnalysis, software that allows users to analyze historical transaction data from eBay. The new release uses eBay-licensed data and draws on the experience of market research firm Wise Research. The software lets users access statistical information about their own eBay Seller account, but eBay prohibits direct research of competitors by requiring DeepAnalysis users to enter the eBay seller ID and password. However, users can analyze aggregated competitive data.
Bright Builders bought Deep Analysis from HammerTap in February of this year. "This release demonstrates to the eBay seller community our commitment to continuing the HammerTap tradition," said Greg Cole, president of Bright Builders Inc.
Bright Builder is a member of the eBay Data Licensing Program and uses historical transaction data from eBay. The application runs faster and provides a broader analysis of data, according to Bright Builders. It also added several new statistical reports and more information about selling activity and individual online auctions.
DeepAnalysis 2.0 adds new depth to its statistical reports, eliminating much of the manual research that was necessary in previous versions. The reports include several new online auction types and reports to save users time and provide more extensive results. The results are presented in charts and graphs designed to help compare the figures and pinpoint the information needed. New reports include a Reserve Analysis Report, a Starting Day Analysis Report, an Ending Day Analysis Report, and an Auction Duration Analysis Report.
DeepAnalysis 2.0 also includes many more details about sellers and individual online auctions. New research items include starting prices, sales totals, top 10 listings, details about fees, listing duration, and eBay categories.
Bright Builders' key product is the Bright Builder, an eCommerce web development tool designed to help individuals and businesses create personalized Web sites. Wise Research, which works with Bright Builders on the DeepAnalysis tool, specializes in advanced eBay analysis and consulting, advising sellers to achieve business success through market research
